Sioux County tops the market again with a sale at $21,800/acre. There’s good auction volume for about another week, and then it really slows down.

Carroll County tops the market with a sale at $17,900/acre. Auction volume looks good for the first three weeks of December. If you are a buyer, take advantage as 2025 auction volume may go down.

Calhoun County tops the market with a sale at $17,500/acre. We continue to see strong auction results not only in Iowa, but all over the Midwest. This is the last week in November and auction activity is brisk.

Iowa County takes top honors with a sale at $17,000/acre. This land had been in CRP for 40 years and has several years left – a very strong sale for CRP. Harvest is nearing the end and fall field work and fertilizer application are beginning. This is my favorite time of year.

Keokuk County takes top honors with a sale at $14,700/acre this week. Harvest is finishing up quickly and auction activity will be picking up as it typically does for auction season, which is the last week of October to mid-December.
